An interesting day for sure!
We soft launched our 70 bird shoot this morning. It is integrated into our 9 stand layout. With a large turnout for June to put us under pressure, the 70 bird option working alongside our 50 bird shoot has already proved to be popular. We will be fine tuning everything to see if it can become a permanent fixture.
Our Kevin of ‘The Bacon Butty’, who although is highly organised and fully stocked up, was eaten out of house and home by the end of the shoot. Apparently it is the first time this has happened to him in the last three years!! Sorry to those trying to sneak in a snack before Sunday Lunch.
The Pool Shoot was very testing due to it’s range. For some time now we’ve been planning a radical change to spice up this area of the Blackdown Shoot. Watch out, it will be happening soon!
After some choke tweaking and cartridge changes, Darren Cross managed to squeak it with a 7xx10. Well done!
