Another great morning of clay shooting both dry and sunny. A touch too much mud and for a while a bit nippy.
As always an enthusiastic turnout with some experienced new shooters trying our ground for the first time. We had a number of newbies in today including quite a few ladies trying their hand too – Welcome and hope to see you all again soon.
The Pool Shoot again was busy with the draw of extra winnings from last month’s rollover.
The regular high scorers clashed early in the morning and made heavy work of the easy looking layout. There were lots of big scoring rounds before the only two clearances of the day were made to split the prizewinning pot. More high scoring attempts were made throughout the morning to try and force yet another rollover.
