There goes the last Summer month and with it our last Summer shoot.
Clay shooting comes alive again in September so the pressure is on us to cater for the start of the clay season. We’ve had a few long running setbacks this year but have coped well. Now we are pleased to announce these have now been overcome and we are ready to knuckle down starting from our next shoot to increase the variety of targets and improve it’s smooth running.
A nearly all new layout was created for today and with so many activities going on this Bank Holiday another good turnout was slightly unexpected. Sorry for some slight queuing but this will be ironed out for next time.
It was great to see lots of new faces and as always we value the very positive feedback that we receive from you all.
The Pool Shoot proved testing but with a joint high score of 7xx10 the congratulations and prize money go to Carl Smithers and Jonathon Knight. Well done!
Finally thanks go to the RAF for sending across a Spitfire and a Eurofighter Typhoon enjoyed over a last cup of tea.
