A beautiful sunny morning albeit a bit cold at the start with a great crowd of shooters out today.
After last February’s epic end of game season attendance we were unsure as to the numbers we were likely to expect. Over a beer or two last night the guesses ranged from the early nineties to the one hundred and forty pluses. Eventually 120. With hosting the monthly Fox Goes Free shoot yesterday for forty newbies we were well stocked up on clays.
Jim took a late gamble and put on a ninth stand to keep any waiting times to a minimum and it has worked out really well.
With today’s shoot being a fifty-four birder we’ll keep the same format and see how it works over the next couple of months. On an even more positive note the price of attacking another four clays won’t cost you a penny more!!
A challenging Pool Shoot this month was again by Darren Cross with a maximum score although he had to work hard to achieve it!
Hope to see you all again next month.
